Monday, June 26th, Dinesh Karthik inaugurated T Natarajan’s cricket academy in Chinnappampatti. The wicketkeeper for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) posted four images on Twitter congratulating the left-arm pacer on his new academy.
Natarajan’s lifelong ambition was to establish a cricket academy in his birthplace for young and aspiring players. The SRH pacer desired to provide the aspirants with exceptional facilities for skill development.
Karthik became emotional upon seeing his friend realize his vision of establishing the academy, and he remarked, “It is an honor for me to inaugurate and begin this thrilling voyage of Natarajan Cricket Academy, which will give wings to a number of young talents in Chinnappampatti. My companion Natarajan deserves credit for making this ambition a reality.”
Netizens praised Natarajan for establishing a cricket academy and giving aspiring cricketers wings. One of the users wrote, “Excellent idea, Natarajan.” Another person congratulated DK and Nattu. For the record, Karthik was in London with the Ashes broadcasting crew. He flew for his companion and opened the academy. The left-arm pacer thanked Karthik for this thoughtful gesture.
A handful of Tamil Nadu and TNPL players were also present.
In addition to Karthik, numerous notable figures attended the event. Few people were present to view the Natarajan Academy, including Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar, Ashok Sigamani, president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, and R Sivakumar, superintendent of police for the Salem district. Yogi Babu, Pugazh, and Gopi, three well-known actors from the film industry, were also in attendance.
