Night two of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series High Bank Nationals took place on Thursday at Brandon, South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway. After finishing sixteenth on the opening night and earning $1,500, Grass Valley native Brad Sweet advanced to eighth place and earned $2,500.
James McFadden of Roth Motorsports did not qualify on Wednesday night but won $20,000 by finishing first on night two.
McFadden told worldofoutlaws.com, “After last night, I questioned my ability to continue driving a Sprint Car.” “Congratulations to Brent Ventura, Wood Patellaro, and Rob Beattie.
McFadden held off David Gavel on the last circuit.
I didn’t do a very effective job last night. I could not determine whether I was uncomfortable or performing my duties improperly. We worked diligently. The fact that I felt great all night long is evident. These agreements are difficult to acquire, so winning one is a wonderful accomplishment.
“Man, I really wanted to win that race,” Gravel remarked. “James widened the car as much as feasible. It was not a filthy item. He was guarding the victory, but I made that error. I want to triumph so badly for these men.”
Despite this, Gravel did acquire $10,000. The top five consisted of Michael Kofoid ($6,000), Logan Schuchart ($5,500), and Jacob Allen ($5,500).
